Each day our SOC operators are responsible for:

Answer and respond to telephone calls that come into the Security Operations Center from both internal and external stakeholders, answering and directing them as required.

Respond to inquiries from Security Personnel, providing necessary direction as per the Standard Operating Procedures and escalating situations with the Security Supervisor, as necessary.

Document necessary information for incidents and service requests, using the platform provided by the Vancouver Airport Authority

Job Requirements

Valid Security License with the Province of British Columbia

Ability to work 12-hour shifts, rotating between days and evenings (overnight)

Ability to problem-solve and situational awareness

Ability to type up to 40wpm and pass the assessment test

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Have access to a vehicle to get to and from work
