Reporting to the Field Operations Supervisor, the Field Operations Lead is responsible for supporting field operations at the Galore Creek Project in northwest British Columbia. In doing so, this outstanding role will supervise mobile equipment operators, camp infrastructure and equipment maintenance personnel and general labourers
A minimum of 5 years of operational experience of growing responsibility, preferably in mining, construction, and/or forestry.
Must hold or be capable of acquiring a Mines Supervisory Certificate.
A valid non-restricted Class 5 driver's license is required.
Experience directing and supervising mobile equipment.
Experience in camp maintenance and construction is an asset.
The ability to operate heavy equipment (backhoes, bulldozers, rock trucks, loaders, and graders) to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock gravel or other materials during construction safely and efficiently is an asset.
