As a Corrosion Technician with Trans Mountain you will be responsible for ensuring the effective functioning of the field operations of the Trans Mountain (TM) corrosion prevention program. The position plays a central role in the completion of the field portion of the installation and maintenance of the TM Cathodic Protection System on all operating and decommissioned assets. Corrosion Technicians perform both Pipeline Integrity/Maintenance inspection and contractor oversight duties.
Qualifications and Professional Experience
Journeyman Electrician Certificate (Red Seal and TQ Endorsement) with 3-5 years’ experience working in an Industrial Environment.
Instrumentation Red Seal endorsement would be an asset.
High School completion required.
AMPP Cathodic Protection II required.
AMPP CIP II (Coatings Inspector II) required.
