Expectations

Advanced written and verbal communication skills;

Advanced knowledge of applicable Federal and Provincial OH&S legislation (WorkSafe BC);

Proactive collaborative approach with the Corporate Safety Manager on the daily safety strategies implemented for multiple work sites

Advanced and broad understanding of safety requirements in civil construction environment

Qualifications

Preferred completion of diploma or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety;

Management experience

5 years experience in similar or complimentary role in heavy civil construction
