AP Accounting student - intern

- Fixed term contract: 11 months

We are looking for an accounting student to join our Canada AP accounting team. The opportunity will provide a real-world experience at an international wood pellet company. Under the supervision of the Canadian AP team, you’ll be working remotely and in the Vancouver office 2 days a week.
We are also very open to you working part-time until out of school and then working full time over the summer holidays, with flexible in the hours to fit with the project

You’ll be responsible for the accurate processing and payment of invoices submitted on a daily basis from suppliers and internal employees. You’ll assist with monitoring daily emails, performing weekly reports and monthly projects centered around the payables process.

This accounting team will be part of the new accounting software implementation project D365 supporting AP with the transition.
